🍇✂️ Join us for a Vineyard Pruning Day at Jabajak! 🌿🍷

Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes to care for a working vineyard?

We’re inviting volunteers to join us on Friday 7th August 2026 for a few hours amongst the vines, helping us with our annual mid-season pruning.

No experience is needed, we’ll provide all the guidance, tools and a friendly welcome. It’s a great chance to enjoy the fresh air, meet new people and learn a little more about how we look after our vineyard throughout the year.

After your hard work, we’ll treat you to a well-earned lunch of homemade chilli & rice, a vegetarian option is available on request🍲

We’re feeling the love this week! 💛🍷

There’s nothing quite like reading through recent reviews from guests who’ve stayed with us, it genuinely makes our day. This week we’ve heard from guests who felt like they were “coming home” from the moment they arrived, praised our evening meals as the best part of their trip, and told us our rooms were spotless, cosy and beautifully decorated.

One guest celebrating a big birthday told us we went above and beyond to make the whole weekend special. Another, marking a wedding anniversary, said they couldn’t wait to come back for more wine on the patio and an evening meal under the stars.

It means the world to us when guests take the time to share their experience. Every review, whether it’s about the wine tasting, the food or just how welcome they felt, helps us keep doing what we love.

Because at the heart of it, that’s our ethos: a warm, welcoming environment, friendly and attentive service, quality food sourced locally wherever we can, and comfortable rooms you genuinely look forward to coming back to.

This place is truly special. The enjoyment begins the minute you walk in and meet the lovely staff. The room itself was perfect-spotlessly clean and totally comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and it was a truly incredible meal. To top off the delicious food, the chef himself came out to introduce himself afterwards so we were able to learn about where all those ingredients came from (all local and totally fresh). We ended our lovely evening in the bar area which had a great atmosphere and served some fantastic cocktails (be sure to taste the vineyard’s own wine too!). We could not recommend this place highly enough-it’s a true gem.

This week we had the pleasure of visiting Porthcawl Gin and meeting owner Chris to collect their outstanding range of handcrafted Welsh gins. It’s always inspiring to meet passionate local producers who put so much care into creating exceptional products.

We’re delighted to be serving the full Porthcawl Distillery gin collection here at Jabajak Vineyard. Whether you love a classic award winning Welsh Dry Gin, something fruity like Apple & Elderflower or Passionfruit or fancy trying the smooth Rhubarb & Ginger Gin, they are all at the front of our bar.

There’s something rather special about supporting fellow Welsh businesses, and we think these gins deserve to be discovered. Why not come along, enjoy a fabulous gin and tonic whilst relaxing outside on the terrace overlooking the vineyard while soaking up the sunshine 🌞🍇

Supporting local businesses helps keep Wales’ incredible food and drink scene thriving and we’re proud to play a small part in that.

Does anyone else find transport the most stressful thing?!
You've made something delicate and beautiful and then have to get it somewhere still looking beautiful, it's a learning curve. This board with cut outs is helping and thankfully Jabajak Vineyard Restaurant & Rooms couldn't be closer so the journey is short, talk about local produce!
