☕🌊 WELL… WE SURVIVED ANOTHER SEASON! 😂
The coffee machine has finally stopped, the fryers are off, the last doughnut has been eaten (probably by one of us 👀) and Coffee on the Quay & Quay Cravings are officially DONE for 2026!
And what a year it’s been!
This season we decided we clearly weren’t busy enough already… so we opened Quay Cravings. 😂
Thankfully, it turned out to be a brilliant idea! Our new little addition to the quay has been a huge success, and we’ve loved seeing you tuck into seafood baskets, loaded tots, whitebait and all the other goodies that have come out of that little kitchen.
But our favourite part?
Seeing the quay absolutely buzzing. ❤️
People sitting in the sunshine, coffees in hand, food on the table, kids running around, dogs hoping something gets dropped and everyone just chilling out watching the waves, boats and the world go by.
There really aren’t many better places to waste an hour… or three. 🌊
Coffee on the Quay has certainly kept us on our toes too. We’ve made what feels like approximately 4.7 MILLION coffees, enough frappes and milkshakes to fill the harbour, and sold enough Massive Doughnuts to confirm that apparently there is NO SUCH THING as a doughnut being too big. 🍩😂
We’ve battled queues, hot kitchens, ticket printers that seem to know exactly when you’re busiest, seagulls plotting their next robbery and the occasional customer staring through the shutter five minutes before opening. 👀😂
But we genuinely wouldn’t have it any other way.
A MASSIVE thank you to every single person who visited us this season. Whether you came once, came every day, knew your coffee order before we did, or spent half your holiday sitting on the quay — thank you for supporting us. ❤️
And now, a VERY special thank you to our incredible team. ❤️
This summer certainly tested them! During some of the extreme heat we had this year, while everyone outside was enjoying the sunshine and sea breeze, our team were inside working next to coffee machines, ovens and fryers that apparently thought 30°C wasn’t quite warm enough. 🥵😂
There were some seriously hot, ridiculously busy days, but they just got on with it — serving endless queues, making drink after drink, cooking order after order and somehow still managing to smile.
They worked their socks off, helped each other out, kept things moving when we were absolutely flat out and played a HUGE part in making both Coffee on the Quay and Quay Cravings such a success this year.
We are incredibly proud of them and genuinely couldn’t have done it without them. ❤️
So to our team — THANK YOU. Now please go somewhere cool and stay away from a coffee machine or fryer for a few months. 😂

And we’re definitely not finished yet…

We may already have a few ideas up our sleeves… but that’s all we’re saying for now. 🤐😂
For now, it’s time for a well-earned rest before someone says the terrifying words…
“Right then… what are we doing for next season?” 😂
