The original owners of the Golden Earl who ran the takeaway from the early 1990s to 2004 have taken ownership again. We offer the same great food from the good old days with a few delicious new dishes to choose from.

Day 13 (oonlookie for sum) in the Black Bull hoose! 🤬

Well the powers that be have surpassed themselves today! They appear to have waited all week, to start digging the rest of the track across Market Street and into Main Street, until this morning at 8am! 😳

Market Street is now closed from the junction at Avenue Park and Main Street is also closed onto Market Street. Local access only! (see pic attached) ⛔️

We are OPEN as always, so again, please allow yourself some extra time in getting here. Pavements are still open and taxis can drop off but there is NO parking available nearby I'm afraid. 😢

This is a very trying time for us all and as a business, we appreciate your efforts to get here so much! The Black Bull Loyal! 😍
