✨ A Sneak Peek of What's to Come... ✨

If you're joining us for dinner over the next few weeks, our Level 6 Professional Cookery students recently completed a trial service on Thursday to help them settle into the new routine and expectations of evening restaurant service.

This service gave students the opportunity to practice their skills, build confidence, and experience the pace and standards expected during live restaurant operations.

The menu shown is an example of the style of dishes and service you can expect throughout the coming weeks. While menus may vary, it provides a great insight into the quality, creativity, and professionalism our students will be delivering.

Regular Lunch and Dinner Reservations
At present the 2026 Terrace Restaurant diary is CLOSED AND FULLY BOOKED.

If we add any additional dates these will be posted here on Facebook.

Christmas 2026 at The Terrace 🧑‍🎄✨
At present Lunch and Evening Christmas reservations for 2026 are CLOSED AND FULLY BOOKED.

Unfortunately, there is no room to add to reservations or move current reservations to alternative dates unless cancelations arise which is unlikely.

I want to Thank you for all your patient today while I did all the background work on the diary configuring what was needed.

🎄✨ A HUGE THANK YOU! ✨🎄

We just want to say a massive thank you for the amazing support and incredible response to our Christmas bookings for 2026. ❤️

At present, Chirstmas Evenings and Thursday dinner services are completely booked to capacity and we are now fully working through the diary.

Christmas lunch bookings are currently on pause while we make some adjustments to the diary and work through the existing bookings.

👉 This means that, at present, our 2026 diary is CLOSED.

If any spaces or dates become available, we will advertise them here on Facebook, so please keep an eye on our page for any updates.

We honestly cannot thank you enough for your continued support, especially this far in advance. It means the absolute world to us! ❤️🎄

Bookings are available on a first come, first served basis, and full payment is required to secure your booking.

Please note: if your preferred dates are not showing as available, this means they are either fully booked or we do not have enough space available for the number of guests required.

We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment! ❤️🎄

✨ A little diary update… ✨

We just wanted to give you a little update on our bookings! ❤️

At present, we are fully booked for dinner until the beginning of November. Don’t worry if you can’t see dates beyond this — our diary only opens so far in advance, so new dates will continue to appear as we move forward.

Our Christmas reservations will open on Tuesday 15th September 🎄✨

We do currently have some good availability for lunch on:

🍽️ Wednesday 28th October
🍽️ Wednesday 11th November

Both dates have good availability at the moment, so if you fancy joining us for lunch, these are great dates to book! 🥂

Just a little reminder about how our diary and bookings work.

Our next diary update dates are Wednesday28th & Thursday 29th October these are LIVE.

🎄 Our Christmas dates will go LIVE on Tuesday 15th September so please make sure you have your party details ready to book when the dates are released.

📲 Please use the booking widget on the West Lothian College website or Dish Cult to make your booking.

🔔 Please also be mindful that our diary opens a number of weeks in advance. If you look at the booking widget and no dates are showing beyond the current available period, this does not necessarily mean we are FULLY booked. It means those dates have not yet been released.

We update and open the diary on a rolling basis, so please keep checking back as we move past each week. 📆

✨ We've upgraded our booking system!

You can now make reservations directly through the West Lothian College website using the Terrace Restaurant tab.

We're testing this alongside Dish Cult to find the most reliable system and minimise booking and payment issues.

We'll be keeping a close eye on things over the next few weeks. Booking steps below ⬇️

🎄 Yes... we're talking about the dreaded C-word... Christmas! 🎄

We've been working hard behind the scenes on our Christmas plans for the Terrace Restaurant. We know this is something we're asked about day in and day out, and we're just as excited as you are to start getting organised for the festive season!

To help you gather your friends, family, and colleagues together, we're delighted to announce that our Christmas dining dates are now available to view below. Please note that bookings will not open until Tuesday 15th September 2026.

As always, we expect a high level of interest when bookings go live, so we kindly ask for a little patience if our diary experiences heavy traffic during the opening period.

Please note: Full payment will be required at the time of booking to secure and reserve your table.

We can't wait to welcome you to the Terrace Restaurant for a festive celebration full of great food, great company, and Christmas cheer! 🎅✨

📣 BOOKING REMINDER 🍽️

A little reminder for everyone looking to book a table with us as we head into the new 2026–27 academic year!

📅 Our diary opens six weeks in advance, so the dates currently showing on our booking system are the dates we are open for bookings at present. As each week passes, another week will be released and become available to book.

👩‍🍳 A little note about our first few restaurant openings:
These will be softer openings, with guest numbers capped at a lower level. This allows our students to settle into their courses, build their confidence and get used to working in the restaurant environment.

Our students are at the heart of everything we do, and these early services give them the opportunity to learn, develop and gain valuable experience in a supportive environment. ❤️

❗ Can't see a date or suitable time?
If there are no dates showing, or the booking times aren't opening up, unfortunately this means that the service is currently fully booked.

We have lots of exciting things in the pipeline for the 2026–27 academic year, and we can't wait to welcome you all back to The Terrace Restaurant! 🥂🍴
