Very sad day today. The Burger Box is away to pastures new to start its life with new owners.
I am going to keep the page open for another week or two then will be closing it down.

This is a very hard and heartbreaking post to write but due to ongoing health and mobility problems we have made the decision not to open the burger box again. After 16 years this is not the way we wanted to end and sorry we are not getting to have a proper goodbye.
We both want to thank every single customer we have ever had and all the regular ones that have been with us from the start.
You all made our wee business a success and we will miss all the cheek and banter that made our job so enjoyable.

First of all we would like to say Happy New Year and hope you all had a good Christmas and thank you to everyone for your support and custom for the last couple of very difficult years.
Unfortunately due to health concerns for both of us we do not know yet when the van will be able to come back out. With that said we are not ready to give up yet 😀
***We were wondering if anybody would be interested in having homemade ready meals and soup made, packaged and delivered to your home or work***
The meals would be made fresh from the van and chilled ready for you to heat or freeze if you prefer.
We are just looking to see if there is any interest before we post any details.

***Thought I better keep you all up to date.***
David's foot is better and we were coming back to work last week when unfortunately David suffered a heart attack.
He is recovering and taking it easy but is not allowed to work or drive for a while so for the time being the van will remain closed.

It has been confirmed that David has broke 2 bones in his foot and told to rest it for a week or 2. Hopefully be back soon.
