LUNDI MUNCH CLUB — MONDAYS AT THE SANDPIPER

A lovely hot lunch, a brew and some good company — all for £5.

We’re introducing something a little different to Mondays at The Sandpiper: Lundi Munch Club.

Every Monday, we’ll choose one hot lunch for everyone to enjoy, served with a brew — tea or a quick coffee — for just £5.

The lunch will change from week to week. One Monday it might be a jacket potato with beans & cheese, another week might be homemade soup and a sandwich, or the following week could be a warming bowl of Scouse.

There won’t be a big menu to choose from — just one good, hearty lunch each week, freshly prepared and ready to enjoy for £5, between 12pm and 2pm on Mondays.

And there’s only one rule… once it’s gone, it’s gone!

We hope it becomes a nice reason to pop in on a Monday, have something to eat, catch up with familiar faces and perhaps meet a few new ones too.

And, as always, everyone is welcome at The Sandpiper — residents of Reeve Court, family, friends and people from the wider community.

Over the past year, we’ve been incredibly proud to become part of the Reeve Court community and we’d like to thank everyone who has supported us along the way.

Like many hospitality businesses, we’ve seen significant increases in operating costs and, to ensure that The Sandpiper remains here for the long term, we’ve taken the decision to make some changes to our opening hours and food offering.

From this week, we will no longer be offering evening food service or Sunday food service. We’ll continue to serve our usual light bites between 10am and 2pm, and our bar opening hours will be changing slightly.

The good news is that The Sandpiper isn’t going anywhere. Our bar will continue to be here seven days a week and we’re committed to providing a warm, welcoming space for residents, their families and our local community to enjoy.

These changes are about making sure we can continue to provide great hospitality in a way that is sustainable for the future. We’d much rather make sensible changes now than compromise on the quality of what we do.

We’ll be keeping things under review over the coming weeks and, as always, we’d love to hear your feedback.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding. We look forward to welcoming you for many coffees, lunches, drinks, quizzes, sporting events and celebrations for years to come.

There have been some slight tweaks to our opening times this week! The coffee shop will be open as usual, however, the Sandpiper restaurant will be closed on Wednesday. In terms of the bar, we open at 6pm on Friday and Saturday but we will be open for all of the World Cup matches including Sunday! So don’t miss the last of the big games and join us at 8pm for kick off!! Have a lovely week and we hope so see you all soon! 🙌🏻

Join us on Sunday, 19th July at 8:00pm in the bar for the World Cup Final. Just 90 minutes of football stands in the way of England making the final round. Regardless of the teams, we’ll be open.
