Good morning all.
As you know this is our last weekend before we close on 30th Sept . It's been an emotional rollercoaster over the past few weeks ( I did have a 5 day break already booked which was really needed) but you've all been fantastic. Thank you. Please pop in today or tomorrow to see us. We'll have our normal service till 2 with our charity tombola ( please bring cash) then from 2 till about 5 both days we'll have our little celebration with you involving some nice surprises. Look forward to seeing you. Ps....4 legged friends very welcome as always.....

Long post alert....
So this is just to let our Pip's friends know that after almost 7.5 years, we will be closing on Wednesday 30th Sept 2026. The decision to sell was not made lightly and if you know me, you'll completely understand. Everything has moved very quickly too so apologies if you are only just finding out.
I'd really like to thank everyone who has visited Pip's maybe only once or maybe you're a Pip's regular. Your contribution to our little community has been appreciated.
To show my appreciation, there will be a little "good bye drop in/ get together" on Sat 26th and Sunday 27th ( from 2pm) . There will be a fundraising tombola ( in the true style of Pip's) as well as refreshments and lots of little surprises. We'll be donating money made to 3 charities: Alzheimer's Society, Macmillan Cancer charity and CALM , a su***de prevention charity. Why not bring your loose change along and throw it in a bottle. Thank you.
Next weekend we're closed due to holidays so see you on 26th or 27th. Thank you all Xx

Good morning.
When I was asked yesterday if I'd shared my news on this page, I realised I hadn't. I'm so sorry if this is the first time you're reading about this.
After 7 years, I have made the decision ( not lightly) to put Pip's on the market. Pip's has been at the centre of the community which was my dream . I have loved meeting people as customers and them becoming friends. Between us we have supported so many charities I've lost count. Thank you.
For now, it's business as usual. I'll make sure to update both this page and my own personal page with any news. In the meantime, if anyone knows of anyone who'd love to take over a cafe/ takeaway in a fabulous location, please let them know about Pip's. Thank you for your ongoing support xx
