We’re excited to be starting a brand new reading group for children aged 7–12! 💛

A relaxed, friendly space for children to enjoy books, build confidence with reading, chat about stories and hopefully discover a love of reading along the way. 📖✨

🧵💜 Vonny’s Sewing Gang is for EVERYONE! 💜🧵

Whether you’re a child wanting to learn something new, a young person who’s out of school and looking for a relaxed activity, an adult wanting to get creative, or you’ve been sewing since before the rest of us were born 🤣 you’re welcome!

There’s no age limit and no need to be an experienced sewer. Bring along a project you’re working on, learn a new skill, or simply come along and have a go.

It’s just as much about connection and community as it is sewing, getting out of the house, meeting people, having a laugh and spending a couple of hours doing something creative. 💜

And of course, there’s always the option of a lovely cuppa and something nice in the café ☕🍰

Shout out to all of our amazing volunteers yesterday, who all came and gave up their time and energy to make the day run as smooth as possible 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 you deserve your own appreciation post 👏🏼❤️

Over 30 people came and helped set up, coordinate the event and pack down and clean the park. We didn’t get pictures of everyone but we appreciate every single one of you 🫶🏼 giving up your Saturday to come and help give everyone a great day. It absolutely wouldn’t have gone ahead without you all!

And our fabulous cafe staff all working hard to give everyone great food and drinks 👏🏼🫶🏼
