MUSIC AND FOOTBALL THIS SUNDAY AT THE WELLY!

Sunday 11 October is going to be an incredible day at The Wellington Music Venue!

1pm to 4pm: Future Sounds Under 18s Open Mic
Come and cheer on our young performers as they take the stage, share their talent and build their confidence. A brilliant way to start the afternoon!

4.30pm: Liverpool versus Man City
Get yourselves in, grab a drink and settle in for the big match, live on Sky Sports!

7pm to 9pm: Oil Chickens LIVE
After the final whistle, the entertainment continues with Oil Chickens taking the stage to round off your Sunday!

Young talent, a huge match and a live band, all in one day. Bring your friends and make a Sunday of it at the Welly!

WHY WE RUN OUR WEEKLY COMPETITIONS

The Wellington is still a new venue, and we’re working hard to spread the word about everything happening here.

We don’t have an unlimited advertising budget, so word of mouth means a huge amount to us. When you share our posts or tell your friends about the Welly, you help us reach people who might never otherwise discover us.

We’re proud of the brilliant artists who already play here. The more people we welcome through our doors, the more we can invest in live music, expand our programme and bring even more exciting nights to Liscard.

Songwriters Wednesday from 8pm. Come along and support original music and grassroots talent at our Wellington Songwriters Showcase.

Speed Quizzing starts at 8pm. Get your team together and join us for a great night of friendly competition.

FRIDAY 9 OCTOBER
Acoustic Vibes from 7–9pm, followed by Jericho Uno from 9.30–11.30pm. Settle in early and make a night of it!

SATURDAY 10 OCTOBER
Family Speed Quizzing at 3pm.
Acoustic Vibes from 7pm.
Monkey Finger Wirral take the stage at 9.30pm.

SUNDAY 11 OCTOBER
Future Sounds Under 18s Open Mic from 1–4pm. A welcoming stage for young performers to build confidence and share their talent.

Liverpool v Man City live, with a 4.30pm kick-off.

Oil Chickens round off the weekend with live music from 7–9pm.

Live music for the next generation at The Wellington Music Venue!

We were asked last night whether children can come along to our Sunday early evening sessions. Absolutely!

Youngsters who love music often miss out on seeing live bands because the gigs finish too late. Our Sunday sessions run from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m., comfortably before our 9 p.m. children’s curfew, giving them the chance to enjoy live music and discover what it’s all about.

Today, we’ve got our Future Sounds under 18s open mic from 1–4 p.m., followed by Paul Duffy from The Coral performing with Zoe in their new duo from 6:30–8:30 p.m.

Whether your youngster loves singing, plays an instrument or simply enjoys watching live music, they’re more than welcome. Come along as a family and enjoy a Sunday full of music!

**We’re launching our Sunday Sessions at The Wellington Music Venue!**

From this Sunday, we’ll have live music **every Sunday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm**, and The Corals, Duffy & Zoe are kicking things off for us.

Come down, grab a drink and enjoy some live music to finish the weekend. If you fancy a dance, even better! Let’s give them a brilliant Welly welcome and make our very first Sunday Session one to remember.

This Saturday is going to be a busy one at The Wellington Music Venue!

We’ve got an incredible evening of live music lined up, starting with the brilliant Marrakesh Express from 6pm until 8pm.

Then, from 9pm until 11pm, the amazing Sugar Shed take over the stage! Sugar Shed always pull in a fantastic crowd, so don’t leave it too late.

Get yourselves here early, grab a drink, find a seat and settle in for a brilliant Saturday night of live music at the Welly.
