You have to make wild garlic capers with the flower heads. These are pickled in a basic 3:2:1 brine that is also brewed with black jasmine tea. We were going to salt ferment but worried they might have a negative mouthfeel if prepared that way (slimy). Vinegar pickling will preserve the crunch, as does the tannins in the tea.

Weโ€™ve stuck to a tried-and-tested technique for the base today: an equal amount of milk, water and oats, finished with a nob of salted butter.

If youโ€™ve noticed itโ€™s been a little quiet over here lately, we wanted to pull back the curtain and share why.

Running a business we love is a dream come true, but itโ€™s also a massive juggle. Between the daily grind of keeping the place running and the beautiful but chaotic whirlwind of raising two young children, our handsโ€”and our heartsโ€”are very full.

To be honest, some days social media is the ball we have to drop so we donโ€™t drop the others. We have so much respect and take our hats off to the business owners who seem to do it all and stay consistent here.
Weโ€™re still here, still working hard, and so grateful for your support even when weโ€™re off-screen. Thanks for sticking with us! ๐Ÿค
