If you walk along a Liverpool street at any time of day, you can hear the sound of laughter and children while they play. If you walk along the dock road, hail, rain or snow, You can hear the sound of work men, who whistle as they go. If you walk into a Liverpool pub to simply quench your thirst, You will be greeted by so many smiles, you wont know who to smile back at first. If you walk into a Liverpool shop, not sure on what you need, Dont worry because the staff in there are very helpful indeed. If you walk along the Anfield road,
you may hear cheers from the game, or maybe pass a stranger placing flowers at the flame. If you ever get a chance, to visit our great city,
Be sure to have a good long look Because it is really very pretty. And be sure to stop a Scouser and have a little chat, They are certain to make you welcome, i can promise you that. One thing about this city, that i am proud to call my home,
Wherever you may walk, you will never walk alone. The people of this city, may be a little loud, But that is not a bad thing, they are simply
