CNC Liverpool- Cars N Coffee Liverpool would like to say a huge well done and thank you to everyone who supported and donated to Liverpool Women's Charity, helping to raise an incredible amount of money and awareness on the day here at Chung Ku Restaurant Liverpool.
A special mention goes to Michelle Scott Nixon, Kate, and, most importantly, young Maisie, whose passion and determination inspired everyone involved.
This fundraising effort was all Maisie’s idea. She approached us and shared her reason and mission for raising money for the liverpool Women’s Hospital, and her enthusiasm was impossible to ignore. Seeing her commitment to such a worthy cause has been truly inspiring.
WE RAISED £1277 on the day, thank you so much to those who donated, especially Cataclean for donating £200!!!!
We are incredibly proud to have been able to support Maisie’s fundraising journey and help raise both vital funds and awareness for the amazing work carried out by the hospital.
Liverpool Women's Hospital is THE ONLY ALL Women's hospital in Europe, supporting women's health at every stage of life.
Their current Gynae Appeal is HIPEC Supporting Women Fighting Cancer – Raising Funds for HIPEC (Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy), a pioneering treatment, which offers hope and life-saving care to women battling cancer.
For ovarian cancer patients, the treatment journey includes three cycles of chemotherapy, followed by a major surgical procedure to “debul” any remaining cancer. At this critical stage, HIPEC is introduced: a heated chemotherapy solution is directly applied to the abdomen during surgery, targeting residual cancer cells with precision.
Research demonstrates that adding HIPEC to standard debuling surgery improves disease-free survival rates by an additional 5-10%. This gives patients a better chance of prolonged remission and, crucially, enhanced quality of life.
Liverpool Women’s Hospital Charity raises funds to enhance the care given to women, babies and families at Liverpool Women’s Hospital, outside of what is provided by the NHS. Our charitable programmes fully support the entire range of patient services.
Here in Liverpool, women face real health inequalities, including shorter life expectancy and higher levels of poverty. Access to essential healthcare can be more difficult, particularly in deprived communities, which makes the work of the hospital even more important.
Liverpool Women’s Hospital plays such a vital role in supporting women, babies, and families across our city, often during some of the most emotional, challenging, and life-changing moments of their lives. Whether it’s providing specialist care for newborns, supporting mums through difficult pregnancies, or offering essential services that go beyond standard NHS funding, the work they do is nothing short of incredible.
Even the smallest donation can help fund vital equipment, improve facilities, and support families when they need it most.
Last but not least all our volunteers, vehicle members, sponsors for making this happen!!
