Everyone at Homebaked Bakery was deeply saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Helena Charous

Many of you will know that Helena proudly ran The Anfield Cafe. She was always a friendly face in our local area & would go the extra mile for others, especially the elderly.

We would like to send our condolences to all of Helena’s family & friends at this sad time. May she rest in peace❤️

With tomorrow’s protest ‘Not A Pound In The Ground’ hoping to support local businesses.

We are closed today (as we was yesterday) & also Monday!

Sorry for the inconvenience- but with scheduling it usually means we miss either Boxing Day/New Year (or both!) so we’ve decided to take the day back with no game for staff to enjoy the bank holiday

Even more reason too with scheduling a kick off to coincide with the Grand National next week too🫠

We know there is scepticism over the race itself but the event is a celebration of our city

Please let the people of the city enjoy it and stop putting home games that day!

Anyway, we are back open Tuesday & will be open from 9am next Saturday right up until kick-off for LFC vs Fulham!

We hope everyone has a Happy Easter🐣
