🩵 RIGHT GUYS …

Complete honesty, we got robbed last night by two absolute sewer people. They came in jacked a load of cash out the till and bailed lightning fast... little did the know we’ve got HD cameras everywhere and have their faces send into the local police who have been great sorting everything with us. Keep an eye out along Allerton Road, both houses and businesses, because these people usually do this regularly rather than one-off. Got to be vigilant and look after each other.

Also, that cash we’re never going to see again, which is pretty sh*te to be honest as a small hospitality business going through an absolute economy crisis with no government support. If you love us, or even if you only like us a little bit, please do come and visit us this week so we can try and gain back some of what was taken.

Late last week got in touch and said they had a run of beans available in an attempt to spotlight the often overlooked female-led roasters in the coffee industry. We thought that was a great idea, and fancied getting involved…

… so these next two weeks we’ll have two batches available selected especially by Caravan’s Head Roaster, Jade…

🔴 SUNDAYS AT STRAWBERRY FIELDS …

Took a little visit to today. Finally got the privilege of having a wander around the site and see the work they’re doing first hand for young people with neurodiversities seeking employment opportunities.

The volunteers we’ve had at SKAUS (5 so far, with Lana now fully employed in the cafe) have been a credit to the programme at Strawberry Fields, funded by . We’re excited to continue working with them in the coming years. We encourage any fellow hospitality venues to get in touch with them and join as service providers to assist with their mission.

(Also, being fully obsessed with The Beatles, it was a good excuse to stop in and see the big man’s piano…)
