It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that Houghtons Bistro has now closed with immediate effect.
This is not a decision we ever imagined having to make. Over the past two years, we’ve poured everything into this business, and we are deeply saddened to be bringing it to an end. Sadly, with the continued and significant rise in operating costs across hospitality, it has become impossible for us to continue trading sustainably — even with your incredible support.
We want to say the biggest thank you to our amazing customers who have supported us, dined with us, celebrated with us, and believed in what we were trying to create.
We’re also heartbroken for our wonderful team, who worked tirelessly and helped make Houghtons what it was. Letting them down has been the hardest part of all.
While this chapter has come to a close, we will always be proud of what we built and the community that grew around it. Thank you for being part of our journey — it truly meant the world to us.
