for kindly supplying and putting up the stage for us. We really appreciate your support and helping us get Jockey Fest ready! ❤️👏

We’re keeping everything crossed for good weather ☀️🤞 and, weather permitting, we’ll be partying outside on the new stage!

If the weather decides to be typically Welsh 🌧️😂, don’t worry — we’ve got it covered! We’ll move the entertainment indoors while making full use of our patio area with shelters, so the party can keep going! 🎉🍻

📢 UPDATE REGARDING OUR EVENT – 30TH AUGUST 📢

Following our recent meeting with Monmouthshire County Council, we have made the decision to go ahead with our event on 30th August.

We understand the concerns that have been raised regarding noise, and we want to reassure local residents that we are taking these matters seriously. As a result, we will be putting additional measures in place to manage and monitor noise levels, including particular attention to bass levels.

As part of this, the Council will be installing sound monitoring equipment to provide accurate, objective measurements of noise levels during the event. This will give us a clear and reliable record of the levels being experienced.

In addition, we will be carrying out our own noise monitoring throughout the event and keeping our own records.

Our aim is to run a successful event while being considerate of our neighbours and the surrounding community. We are committed to working with the Council and listening to any concerns so that we can find the right balance between putting on a great event and minimising any impact on local residents.

The Little Jockey is open from 5pm today. We’re working hard to keep our village pub open and give everyone somewhere to meet, relax, and socialise.
