Do I need planning permission for a permanent tipi?

It's one of the first questions we're asked - and the honest answer is... it depends.

Every site is different. Planning permission and Building Regulations are separate processes and requirements can vary depending on your location, intended use, infrastructure and the nature of your project.

Whether you're creating an outdoor classroom, farm shop, wellness space, visitor attraction or hospitality venue, taking a little time to understand the process at the beginning can save time, money and unnecessary headaches later.
