🚨 PLEASE HELP US BRING A PIECE OF HISTORY HOME 🚨

Our historic pub post box has been stolen.

For over 100 years, it has been a cherished part of The Flitch of Bacon and holds immense sentimental and historical value to our pub and the local community. Sadly, it has been taken, and we’d love nothing more than to see it returned to where it belongs.

If you have it, or know who does, we’re offering a reward for its safe return – no questions asked.

Please help us by sharing this post as far and wide as possible. With your support, we’re hoping to reunite The Flitch of Bacon with this irreplaceable piece of its history.

We just want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along to support our Summer Launch BBQ Party last Sunday.

What an incredible day it was! ☀️🎉

From the moment the BBQ fired up, the drinks were flowing, the delicious BBQ was enjoyed by so many, and the atmosphere was simply fantastic. 🍔🍹🍻

A massive thank you to Monkies Wedding Band for keeping everyone entertained with incredible live music all afternoon – you had everyone singing, dancing and enjoying every minute! 🎷🎸💃

It was wonderful to see our garden buzzing with familiar faces and to welcome so many new customers through our doors. The support we’ve received from our local community since opening has been truly overwhelming, and we can’t thank you enough for making The Flitch of Bacon part of your weekends.

This is only the beginning! We have plenty more exciting events, live music, quiz nights, tribute acts and special evenings planned over the coming months, and we can’t wait to share them with you all.

We’re incredibly excited to invite you to a very special day at The Flitch of Bacon as we celebrate our amazing new beginning with an afternoon of BBQ, live music, great drinks and brilliant company!

📅 Sunday 26th July
🔥 BBQ from 12pm onwards
🎷 Live music from 3:30pm

We’ll be firing up the BBQ from midday and our garden food truck will be open, so grab your friends and family and settle in for a fantastic afternoon with us!

🔥 BBQ Tickets
£20 per adult
£5 per child
Price includes your BBQ food. Drinks are available to purchase separately.

Then from 3:30pm, get ready to sing and dance as the brilliant Monkies Band – Guitar & Sax Duo join us for an afternoon of fantastic live music! 🎷🎸

Expect an amazing mix of Ska, Rocksteady, Reggae, Soul, Pop and Rock ‘n’ Roll, with music inspired by The Beat, The Specials, Madness and Bad Manners, alongside plenty of modern and retro favourites guaranteed to get everyone up and dancing! 💃🕺

This is a really special event for us. Since opening our doors, the support we’ve received from our wonderful local community has been incredible, and we simply can’t thank you enough for welcoming us so warmly. ❤️
