This is not a post we wanted to write but it’s come to our attention some comments were made regarding the money raised for the defibrillator. The money has been discussed with the locals (who helped to raise it) and has been distributed evenly to 3 different charity’s. This has all been dealt with above board.

We apologise if this has caused any upset or conflict. If you wish to contact us regarding the defibrillator money or any other issues please feel free as we will answer any questions you may have.

We too are very upset and disappointed that we are shutting the pub. We have always supported the locals and welcomed them but due to the current times and everyone’s circumstances unfortunately we cannot continue to put money into it.

We would also like to thank those who have supported us since the revamp and opening of the pub in July.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Unfortunately due to the current economic climate and rising costs the Pub shall be closed permanently from today.

We would like to thank all the people that have been in and supported us, we would like to wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year!

The pub will be shut on Saturday 17th December for a private function, but will be open as normal from 12 on Sunday, but just a reminder that there is no carvery.
