Additional details regarding Cars & Chrome Car Show at The Boulevard on Sunday 7th June: 10.00am-4pm. Show cars can arrive from 9.30am

No registration required, just turn up! Event takes place in sectioned-off car park close to McDonalds. (Look for the Friends of the Cancer Centre flag.) Refreshments and breakfast items available. £10 entry per car which includes ballot ticket. Freebies for early birds.

With family’s blessing, this car show is dedicated to the precious memory of Debbie McCall, whose courageous battle with cancer tragically ended just a few short weeks ago. Johnny McCall, Debbie’s husband, is the founder of Exotic Cars NI/RoI and co-founder of Carbon & Chrome. All takings and ballot ticket sales will go directly to Friends of the Cancer Centre, based at City Hospital, Belfast, where Debbie received much of her treatment. Hopefully we can raise a significant sum for such a worthwhile cause, and one which is so close to the hearts of many of our car club members.

The hospitality sector has come together to launch – a united campaign and petition calling for hospitality VAT to be reduced from 20% to 10%.

Spearheaded by chef and publican Tom Kerridge, we’re working alongside trade bodies across the sector, such as and , hospitality communities like , and you, businesses across hospitality, to say 10% VAT is fair for hospitality.

Our sector pays too much tax, and VAT is the single biggest lever the Government can pull to support venues, our customers, our high streets and our local communities.

This campaign is for everyone: businesses, customers, waiting staff, chefs, kitchen porters, bar staff, hotel teams, farmers, brewers, suppliers and producers.
