That incredible smell when you open a fresh bag of coffee?

You’re smelling hundreds of different aroma compounds. 🤯

Coffee is one of the most chemically complex things we regularly eat or drink — and roasting creates an extraordinary mixture of compounds responsible for everything from chocolate and caramel notes to fruity, nutty and spicy aromas.

And here’s the annoying part…

Your nose is doing a HUGE amount of the work when you “taste” your coffee.

That’s why coffee can suddenly taste disappointingly bland when you’ve got a blocked nose. 🤧☕

There are many things we can’t fix about Mondays.
