And we are back! And so is the delicious super dense fig balsamic glaze!

With typically bad timing, today is your only chance to visit us this week! I am away for a couple of days, so we will be closed Friday and Saturday. Fingers crossed for a full week next week 🤞

I came in this morning ready for a day of your smiling faces, when I discovered a freezer had failed, leaving us with a bit of a clean up job! We won’t be open first thing that’s for sure - I’ll post on here if we manage to open later! 💪

I had an unscheduled appointment with a delightfully rocky byway on Sunday night after a slight disagreement with my bike over the direction we were travelling in. The bike seems to be ok, as am I apart from some cuts and bruises! I’m still feeling a little bit delicate, so we won’t be opening today. Sorry for any inconvenience.

As some of you know, I have been a medical cannabis patient for over four years now (with the lovely people ). Cannabis isn’t totally harmless, but it can be so helpful for so many people.

Prohibition simply doesn’t work - what we need is a legal, regulated market which takes the trade away from organised crime. It is estimated that through legalisation, there could be a £1.5bn net annual gain to the taxpayer - we could do with some of that, don’t you think? It would also bring age verification and product testing, and many other benefits. The policy makes a lot of sense; it’s linked in the bio. In a beautiful moment of serendipity, just after listening to the delightful Ride or Die by , some cyclists stopped off for tea and cake and parked their bikes outside. We got chatting and it turns out that they were on their way back home to Devon, having being away touring on their bikes for over 5 months!

Of course, as they were people who clearly love their bicycles, I passed this song along to them. I hope they enjoy it as much as I do.
