Firstly, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to nominate and vote. The response was incredible, and it was fantastic to see so many local good causes supported by our community. ❤️

After counting every Facebook and Instagram vote, we’re delighted to announce that the two good causes HareFest 2026 will be supporting are:

It wasn’t quite the ending we were all hoping for with England, but what a tournament it’s been.

⚽ WE’RE MAKING IT UP TO YOU… IN A BIG WAY! 📺🍻

After being closed on Saturday for the Quarter Final (we’re still getting grief about that one! 😅), we thought it was only fair we made it up to you…

So we’ve gone and installed a GIANT SCREEN in the garden! 🙌

Just in time for the Semi-Finals and, with a bit of luck, England in the Final! 🏆🦁

We will have a trial run and show the France vs Spain game tomorrow, then……..

Talk about bad timing… 😅⚽

We’ll be closing from 8pm on Saturday 11th July for a private function.

Trust us, we know it’s the same evening as the England vs Norway World Cup match, but this celebration was booked over six months ago when Englands amazing run was just a distant dream!

Private parties and events like these are a huge part of what helps keep The Hare alive, keeping it here for everyone to enjoy throughout the year.

We’re incredibly grateful for the amazing support our local community shows us week in, week out, and we hope you’ll understand this one.

We officially give our permission to go and support one of our fellow establishments 😂. We hear some of them are also quite good 😉 🍻
