Down in the Champany cellar, two Jeroboams of the 1985 Ochoa Reserva have been quietly gathering dust.

We’ll be welcoming Ochoa’s Global Export Manager, Sara Agós Olano, to host a special dinner featuring the 1985 Reserva alongside younger vintages—also poured from large formats. It promises to be another memorable evening at Champany.

The dinner will start with a glass in the Cocktail Bar prior to moving through to the Restaurant for a three course dinner with paired w**es from the Ochoa vineyards.

You ask for more dinners and then in quick succession, they arrive!

Only buses are not quite as sexy as opening a Jeroboam of 1985 Tinto Reserva.

It’s the Great South African W**e Weekend.

Four w**emakers are opening their favourite braai w**es. Taste the range and choose your two favourites to enjoy alongside burgers, boerewors & cape brandy pudding.

£45 per person. Two glasses of w**e, mains and pudding.

How do we celebrate our longstanding heritage and love of South African w**e?

Here’s what we have come up with…

We will be hosting the inaugural Great South African W**e Weekend on the 26th and 27th September.

We have invited our friends from Beaumont W**es, Miles Mossop W**es, Newton Johnson Vineyards and Lukas Van Loggerenberg to present some of their finest Cape w**es.

A Festival of Cape W**e from four w**eries. Featuring a W**e Tasting and Masterclass, Dinner on Saturday Evening followed by an informal Barbeque Braai on the Sunday.
