CAPONATA 🍅🫒🍆🌶️🧅🌿🌰🧄🥫

Caponata is a classic Sicilian antipasto/dip made with slow-cooked aubergine, tomatoes, olives, capers, and a sweet-and-sour twist.

So we decided to put it on a pizza! 🍕

Paired with a light tomato base, Parmesan, torn Burrata and fresh basil. It really is a true taste of Italy 🇮🇹

Burrata season is here 🤍🍅🧀

For anyone new to it, burrata is a fresh Italian cheese with a delicate mozzarella shell and a rich, creamy Stracciatella centre that spills out when you cut into it.

On a hot summer day, it is the perfect addition to pizza: cool, silky and refreshing against warm tomato sauce.

A little olive oil, black pepper, and suddenly every bite feels lighter, creamier and completely indulgent.
