What a weekend at folk festival

We have been serving our delicious crepes at this wonderful little folk festival for about 6 years now.

It’s so lovely to meet the same customers every year who visit us every day for a crepe, sometimes two or three times a day, to get their savoury and sweet fix!

The people, the music, the dogs and the vibe is just so special.

Apologies for another unexciting picture, but we were so busy from start to finish, so had no time for flashy social media posts!

This captures the calm before our busy days began 🥞❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who popped by for a natter and delicious crepe, we are always grateful.

It was a pleasure as always to chat to the Southport Town Crier at our annual trip to Southport Food & Drink Festival it really is our favourite event of the year! Fabulous location, wonderful people, busy days, and we get to unwind at a bed and breakfast by the sea after a hard days work 🍷🌊😴💕

This was the calm before the crazy busy queue storm!

A huge thank you to everyone who came to visit us Lincolnshire Showground - Home of the LAS for another fantastic and crazy busy Lincolnshire show!

We ❤️ this event and seeing our loyal customers every year. This must be our 12th year doing it! Where does the time go?!!

I think we’ve lost a stone in weight and can barely walk after two days of constant crepe making! 🥵

We are so bad at posting on socials and creating fancy reels as we never get the chance at events as too busy making crepes, so sorry for the unexciting picture!! However Jacqueline the trailer does look lovely in all her splendour 🥞🥰💕

This pancake day, why not seduce your taste buds and wow your friends, family and loved ones with a crepe that adds that little bit of extra je ne sais quoi!

You can’t beat the traditional fillings that we all know and love, but the great thing about a crepe is that you can get creative and give yourself a real tasty treat.

Check out some of our creations here…

Pic 1: Beef Bourguignon: cook the beef to your liking, sit it in a crepe bed and poor a Rich red wine jus over the top so the flavour soaked into the beef. Serve with mini carrots and dauphinoise potatoes

Pic 2: Crepe Bretagne - a traditional crepe from Brittany. Toppings are egg, cheese, ham, tomato, mushroom and rocket. Add a delicious tangy chutney for an extra flavour explosion!

Pic 3: Smoked salmon, cream cheese, cracked black pepper and a squeeze of lemon

Pic 4: Berry Compote - Fresh blueberries made into a sweet and tangy sauce, serve with vanilla ice cream or yoghurt and sprinkling of sugar

Pic 5: Eton mess - place fresh strawberries and creme fraiche in the middle of the crepe and sprinkle with broken up meringue pieces. Fold the crepe inwards to make a parcel and sprinkle with sugar and a sprig of mint
