Steak in Lincoln, but with a Cognito twist 👀

Our carved 250g ribeye is served with Nam Jim Jaew, a Thai dipping sauce made with tamarind, chilli, lime and toasted rice. It pairs perfectly with the steak.

Our sushi menu has had an update 🍣

Some classic rolls stayed exactly where they belong, while others have been reworked by our Head Chef Connor. Every roll is hand made and carefully thought through, bringing together the pan Asian direction of the new Cognito menu with the sushi restaurant in Lincoln you already know and love.

If you really want the full experience, we would recommend trying our Omakase.

Omakase is the Japanese tradition of letting the chef choose your food, giving our chefs the freedom to create a platter for your table 💜

(The omakase experience must be ordered 24 hours in advance)

Cognito & Café Cognito now has an outside area ☀️

It’s not the finished product just yet, but we didn’t want to miss out on the sunshine while we work on it 🤍

For now it will be order at the bar rather than table service, but it does mean you can enjoy a drink, coffee or food outside with us.

Please note outside tables are first come, first served and are not bookable. Any existing bookings will still be seated inside 🦊💜

Bank Holiday weekend at Cognito & Café Cognito 🦊

Start the day with breakfast, brunch, coffee, matcha and freshly baked treats at Café Cognito from 8am to 3pm on Saturday, Sunday and bank holiday Monday. Lunch starts from 12 ☕

Then from 5pm, Cognito restaurant is open for dinner, cocktails and the kind of evenings that turn into “just one more drink” 🍸

A full day of good food and drinks, right here in Lincoln. Make sure to look out for our new outdoor area, perfect for this heatwave (it’s not the finished product…but we couldn’t miss out on this nice weather) 💜
