Just a quick note to let people know that we’ll be closing slightly earlier today at 2pm instead of 3pm 🚪

⏰ Last orders for food will be 13:30 🍽️

We’ll be back open as usual from 9am on Saturday and from 10am serving up your favourite all day breakfast 🍳 🥓

Just a quick reminder to everyone of our opening times and that we will be closed as usual on Bank Holiday Monday (4th May) and will be open as usual from 09:30 on Tuesday Friday, from 9am on Saturday and from 10am every Sunday.

🇬🇧 Freedom of the Borough Parade – This Saturday! 🇬🇧

We are honoured to welcome The Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment to Leyland on Saturday 25 April as they parade through our town to receive the Freedom of the Borough of South Ribble.

📅 Saturday 25 April
⏰ From 11.30am
📍 Leyland → South Ribble Borough Council Civic Centre

This is a proud moment for our community, and everyone is warmly invited to come out, line the streets, and show support for the Regiment.

Parade Route
- Depart from the car park and proceed down King Street
- Turn left onto Towngate
- Bear right onto Lancastergate
- Turn left onto Broadfield Drive
- Turn right onto West Paddock
- Arrive at the Civic Centre for inspections and the official ceremony

Road Closures
To ensure the safety of spectators and participants, road closures will be in place from 11am to 12 noon along the parade route.

This will be a memorable day for South Ribble, and I look forward to welcoming residents, families, and visitors as we celebrate the Regiment and their service.

🔔‼️Warning - Cheesy Soppy Boring Thankyou Message Below ‼️🔔🧀

As I woke up this morning on a very rare day off, I was able to appreciate more than ever the little things that happen to us, around us and for us everyday.

It’s an absolute privilege to meet, serve and work with some absolutely amazing people who just go through their day and week doing what they do.

Over the course of the week we’ve seen the launch of the Bike and Brew Passport Event , Leyland in Bloom working more of their magic and helping to keep our town colourful, clean and tidy, the amazing and tireless community support and care from the team at Cnos Leyland a couple of celebration buffets, a baby shower and it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t mention the team here who help us do what we do (even if a couple of them did take our Easter costumes off) 🐣

When alls said and done, I love doing what we do, the amazing customers who come to support us, the team but most of all having the opportunity to see and be part of so much positivity and genuine community support is amazing.

So if you’ve made it this far, I did warn you it would be cheesy and soppy but it can’t be said that I don’t mean every word.

🔔 📢Quick Update and shout out 📢🔔

We're delighted and proud to be supporting MARK (Motorbiker Acts of Random Kindness) by being part of the Bike and Brew Passport Event 2026, and it's been great meeting people already calling in and getting involved ❤️

It's a cracking idea and a brilliant cause, helping support things like food banks, care homes, respite centres, homeless shelters and outreach programmes.💖

It’s been great to meet few new faces faces already, a few fresh stamps, and a really lovely afternoon here at Leyland Heritage Cafe 🏍️☕

This afternoon it's been a real pleasure to welcome some new faces through the door who arrived for their stamps after also stopping off at J&S Accessories Leyland 🦺🛞🛵

It's exactly what this is all about getting out on the road, meeting good people, supporting local places and being part of something bigger than just the ride. 🤝

We're also a stockist, so if you want a passport, you can pick one up from us here at the cafe. 🍔

They're £10 cash only, and that goes straight as a donation to MARK mental health charity, it's not part of our business sales. 💙

There are 296 venues in the passport across England and Wales, with 29 in the North West, and you can get your passport stamped as you visit participating venues along the way. 🗺️📘✅

So if you're passing, call in, grab a brew, get your passport stamped and say hello, we'd love to see you.
