đ„© COULD THIS BE ONE OF THE BEST SUNDAY ROASTS IN THE YORKSHIRE DALES?
There are Sunday lunches⊠and then thereâs a proper Yorkshire Sunday carvery.
Hidden away at The Street Head Inn, between Leyburn and Hawes, youâll find exactly that â generous cuts of roast meat, plenty of vegetables, proper gravy and those enormous Yorkshire puddings that deserve half the plate to themselves.
The Street Head Inn is a traditional Yorkshire Dales coaching inn dating back to 1730, surrounded by the beautiful countryside of Bishopdale and Wensleydale. Oak beams, a roaring fire, real ales and hearty home-cooked food â pretty much everything you want from a Dales pub on a Sunday.
And their Sunday Carvery is something theyâre particularly proud of, featuring roast meat, a host of vegetables and Yorkshire puddings.
Worth knowing before you set off: Sunday dining is currently advertised as 12 noonâ2pm, and booking ahead is a very good idea. Dogs are welcome in designated tables in the public bar rather than the dining room, with those tables available first come, first served.
