I’ve come out of retirement (only the baking kind!) to bring my yummy lemon scones into The Fox! Served with butter, lemon curd and Cornish clotted cream, in summer it doesn’t get much better than that. Only available at lunch time, so why not come and give them a try. Not only perfect with tea, but even better with a lovely, cold crisp glass of white wine. ❤️🦊

Back on at lunchtime for the summer our Farmhouse Platter. Local pork pies, homemade Scotch egg with Swaledale sausage meat, home roast ham, mature cheddar cheese, baguette and pickles £15 for one £26 to share. Perfect on a summers afternoon ❤️🦊

Very proud to have hosted a great friends surprise 65th birthday party yesterday at The Fox and it was a total surprise. The sun shone, family and friends gathered and a great time was had by all. We were guests at the party so even managed to get to try our own grazing table, gorgeous even if we say so. If you’re planning a celebration why not give us a call! ❤️🦊

Bad news the kitchen will be closed from Friday 5th June for a week but the good news, pub will be open. Friday & Saturday 12- lock.

Our kitchen will be closed from Friday the 5th of June until Saturday 13th of June when it will resume normal opening hours (we’re letting the chef take a break, a well earned one!)
