Thanks to the lovely people of Ringmer for popping in to speak to Neil in our Environment First team about all things recycling at the Village Hall on Saturday. Residents were particularly interested to hear about some of the new items that can go in their recycling bin, including:

🪴 Plastic plant pots and seedling trays (all colours except black, and no polystyrene please)

🌞 Plastic tubes such as suntan lotion, toothpaste, moisturiser and hand cream

🧃 Waxy cartons such as Tetra Pak, oat milk and juice cartons

🍅 Squeezy metal tubes like tomato puree

♻️ Plastic bags such as fruit and vegetable bags and carrier bags

Next Saturday afternoon all welcome to observe and record flower s, birds, insects etcetc in St Mary's Ringmer Eco churchyards... Activities to engage children and local 'experts' on hand... A lovely afternoon outside in nature.
