💛 WE’RE BACK! 💛

Come along to our first ever Lewes Community Closet session at Landport Community Hub on Monday 17th August, 10am–12pm — everyone is welcome!

We’ll have FREE clothing for all ages, including a mix of summer and autumn clothing, so come along and have a browse.

There’ll also be free tea, coffee and cake, plus crafts, toys and games for little ones (dairy and gluten free options available) ☕🍰🎨

We’ll also be accepting clothing donations on the day. If you have good-quality, clean clothing that you no longer need, please bring it along and help us keep the Community Closet stocked for local people.

Senior's Tea Party is back! 🫖🍰

Join us for a joyful afternoon of conversation, connection, and – most importantly – sandwiches and cake at this year’s free Seniors’ Tea Party. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet new people, catch up with friends, and enjoy a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere as we celebrate the start of summer together.

Following valuable feedback from last year’s attendees, this year’s event will be hosted at the All Saints Centre, offering an accessible and comfortable space for everyone to enjoy.

To reserve your place, please RSVP by emailing [email protected], calling 01273 471469, or by visiting Lewes Town Hall reception in person.

When booking, do let us know of any dietary requirements in advance. Places for this event are limited, and will be confirmed on a first come, first serve basis.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or specific accessibility needs, we’re here to help ensure everyone can attend and enjoy the day.

REMINDER: We’ve updated our housing allocations policy and to stay on the housing register, you must submit a new application by 31 May 2026.

What’s changing?
• No more bidding
• Simpler bands
• New eligibility rules

If you need help applying, please complete the form included with the letters we sent out, or contact us as soon as possible.

If you don’t re-apply in time, you will be removed from the register.
