Discover the hidden magic of movie sound in this fun, hands-on family workshop. Children and their families will explore the world of Foley (the art of creating sound effects for film) using everyday objects to recreate everything from galloping horses and croaking frogs to crackling fires and rolling thunder.

The madcap 1986 musical from Frank Oz stars Rick Moranis is Seymour Krelborn, a nerdy young man working at a flower shop on Skid Row. Berated by his boss and harbouring a secret crush on his co-worker, his routine is disrupted when he discovers a mysterious plant with a craving for blood!

Our Everybody Friendly screenings offer relaxed, subtitled movie experiences in our spacious and accessible cinema. They are especially welcoming for older guests, as well as autistic people, the D/deaf community and people with learning difficulties or dementia.

🍷 We’re excited to announce our first Meet the Supplier event at Depot – and you’re invited! On Friday 14 August, join us on our terrace to welcome one of our new suppliers – Everflyht Vineyard, joining us from just down the road in Ditchling.

You’ll have the opportunity to sample an exquisite selection of wines from the vineyard, as well as plenty of chances to chat with the Everflyht team about wine production in Sussex.

To top it off, we’ll be offering a 10% discount on our stocked Everflyht products for the day. Choose from their luxurious Wylde Sparkling Rosé or the award-winning Cuvée Edition 3, a sparkling wine that reflects the estates current planting by combining Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier.

🍇 Whether you’re a self-proclaimed sommelier, a budding vintner or just on the lookout for your new favourite wine, this event is the perfect opportunity to sample some of the best local produce that Sussex has to offer. We hope you can join us in welcoming the Everflyht team to Depot!

🍷 This month we're featuring two wines in our guest wine spotlight that are perfect to enjoy outdoors in the sun, supplied by the fantastic .of.lewes.

Looking for something light in body yet full of character? Look no further than the Prontissimo Palhete, a Portuguese red best served slightly chilled that showcases juicy red fruit, soft tannins and a refreshing acidity.

Up next is the Cantine Benvenuto, a fascinating orange wine from Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy. With an irresistible, intense amber colouring, this is an enveloping, fresh and savoury wine with aromas of apricot, honey and spices.

Two Kings are rockin’ their way down to their Dalliance debut, bringing with them a jukebox full of Elvis flavoured rock n’ roll covers for your enjoyment. Serving up food is Carlito Burrito, an award-winning Mexican street food company utilising traditional cooking methods to deliver a unique flavour experience.
