Le Bresse hatching eggs. One dozen ready to go as I’ve already hatched far more than I need this year. Fertility has been 90%+ all year and parent birds are from excellent stock. Available to collect Lewes BN7 or can post (I won’t use polyboxes, but I do use a ton of bubble wrap!).

Le Bresse are considered THE best dual purpose bird in the world, but they are also incredibly docile and the girls are excellent layers of around 220 eggs p/a.

How cute are these little guys! Every year I hatch a batch of ‘Farmyard Layers’ from my blue, green and dark brown egg-laying hens. This year they are running with a very handsome Le Bresse boy (Le Bresse are excellent layers) and the resulting chicks are so scrumptious that I’ve just set a second batch 🙌 Fertility was excellent (20 out of 24 eggs hatched), so if you want to hatch some birds that will lay you plenty of eggs in pot-luck colours, drop me a message.
