This Sunday from 5 to 8pm, we’re handing the Hatch over to our first guest takeover of the summer.

Local farmer Steven Reaper and the Spitting Pig team will be serving up slow-roasted hog roast rolls, juicy burgers and loaded fries, all freshly cooked by the sea.

Good food starts with good ingredients.

That’s why our new summer menu is packed with some of the best produce the East Neuk has to offer. From Barnett’s Bakery bread to Pittenweem Fish House dressed crab, our ingredients are sourced from brilliant local suppliers, and celebrate the incredible food being produced right here on our doorstep.

The response so far has been amazing, and we’re so grateful for all the lovely feedback. If you haven’t stopped by yet, we can’t wait to see you soon.

Dave Day began as a tribute to Dave Myers, one half of the much loved Hairy Bikers, following his passing in February 2024. What started as a charity memorial ride between friends quickly became something far bigger, bringing together tens of thousands of bikers, supporters and communities from across the UK and beyond.

Now returning for 2026, June 20th is Dave Day 3 and continues to celebrate everything Dave stood for: friendship, kindness, community and bringing people together.

Elie Coffee Hatch is a proud sponsor of Dave Day and will feature in Dave’s Passport - a list of over 200 plus places to visit around the UK including routes, views, cafes and more.
