You Lot Have Taught Us A Few Things… ❤️🤫
Since opening Secret Kitchen, one of the best parts has been getting to know our customers, listening to what you think and finding out what actually matters to you.
And you’ve taught us a few things along the way…
🤫 Sometimes you just need to give somewhere a chance…
We knew when we came into The Windsor that people would naturally compare us to what was here before, and we completely understand that.
Some of you have even admitted you were a little unsure about coming in and trying us because you loved what was here previously.
But then you came in…
And hearing you say you’ve been pleasantly surprised, loved the food and then seeing you come back again has been a massive compliment.
We’re not trying to be anyone else. We’re just trying to make Secret Kitchen the best it can be and hopefully give you another place you love coming to.
🥩 Quality matters.
Something else you’ve commented on a lot is the quality of the food.
We know we’re not going to be the cheapest place around, and we don’t want to achieve lower prices by putting cheaper ingredients on your plate.
We use quality ingredients, butcher meat and fresh produce wherever we can because if we’re charging you your hard-earned money for a meal, we want you to feel like you’ve had something worth paying for.
🌾 Having REAL gluten-free choice matters.
This one has probably opened our eyes more than we expected.
We’ve spoken to customers who have been told something is gluten free elsewhere, only to discover that it wasn’t suitable for them after all.
So seeing the reaction when people realise just how much of our menu can be prepared gluten free has been brilliant.
For some people, having a proper choice rather than being stuck with one option makes a massive difference, and we love being able to give you that.
❤️ And people genuinely want us to do well.
This might be the nicest thing we’ve learned.
You recommend us to friends. You bring family back with you. You share our posts. You leave reviews. You tell people what you’ve tried…
And we’ve even seen some of you jumping into the comments to stick up for us when someone has something negative to say 😂❤️
We never expect anyone to do that, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but seeing customers who have actually been through our doors wanting to support us genuinely means a lot.
We’re still learning, still listening, and still building Secret Kitchen.
But more and more, it feels like you lot are building it with us.
