Vutie Beets is owned by Paul and Harry who believe in a happier, healthier, more sustainable community through food. They want to showcase vegan food and drink and highlight how good the lifestyle can be. Covid-19 shook up our business model, seeing us turn into green grocer, vegan supermarket and now finally getting our doors back open for our regular cafe service. Alongside our cafe offering we will continue our delivery service and you can shop our products in store as this has helped us survive this period. As the lock down has eased we have started our 9am Sunday 5k run and 20k bike ride from the shop to encourage our local community to stay active. For anyone that takes part, we offer half price drinks so why not pop down one Sunday!?

Our Korean Pancake is back on the weekend menu! Arguably one of our best dishes, even if we do say so ourselves!

A cabbage, celeriac, spring onion and gochujang pancake topped with Korean bbq sauce, Japanese mayo, tamari mushrooms, nori, pickled ginger, crispy onions and spring onion!

Thursday 17th September we will be hosting a supper club at the shop with Best Before Cafe to raise money for Letchworth Foodbank

For the first time in 14 years the food bank has run out of baked beans!

Food donations at supermarkets are low and the food bank is having to buy food instead of relying on donations. With 1 in 3 children in Letchworth living in poverty these donations are vital.

All of the money raised at the supper club will be going directly to the food bank. We are also asking guests attending the supper club to bring items from the list on the 4th image of this carousel.

If you can’t attend but would still like to get involved you can donate items directly to the food-bank or drop them in to the café where we will have a collection point 🧡

September 13th Paul and I will be running the Great North Run for

They do amazing work providing family led care for children with life-shortening conditions. It is a place where children, young people and their families can go to stay from time to time along their journey and find support, rest and practical help.

Between now and the run we will be donating £2 from every bag of coffee sold in store or online to our fund raiser. So why not pick up a bag?

It’s been ages since we last dropped some merch, we wanted to make sure we got it right and make something you can wear daily.

We focussed on keeping things simple, local and great quality.

Working with our friends at HAVE A GD TRIP on the design and SNU WEAR on the print 🤝

We then made Jas and Yann model them to encourage you to get one 😃
