Tonight’s take away @ The Carnegie hall has sold out.

We have been overwhelmed with the support and orders for our first pop up take away night, orders have been flooding in since we advertised earlier in the week.

We apologise to anybody who has missed out this time. We have now seen that the demand is there for more on our next event and hope you will manage to get an order in next time.

Looking forward to seeing those of you who have managed to secure an order and hope everyone enjoys their Take away.

Hello everyone and thank you for your patience over the past couple of weeks.

We are now in a position to update you on some changes moving forwards.

We have had to make the difficult decision to cease trading from the Mackenzies farm shop. This decision has been incredibly difficult but in the best interests of our business.

👍🏻The good news is that the Kitchen table is going to continue and we are looking forward to future opportunities in events and catering. So please get in touch with any future enquiries and look out for exciting new things coming from us.

☀️We have had the most amazing time becoming the kitchen table. We have met some incredible people and worked with some fantastic local suppliers who we will continue to enjoy working with.

☕️Hilary, we thank you for teaching us to make some of the best coffee in Shetland!

❤️Our loyal and supportive customers have made this journey so far a very rewarding one.

🥰We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

😍Our work family, it has been too much fun to really feel like work! We love you all loads and are delighted to be able to keep working with you all in a new capacity.

🥳We have many new and exciting ideas to come and we can’t wait to share them with you all.

Please note our opening hours on Friday are for pre bookings for our coronation high tea and we are closed the following day Saturday 6th for the coronation.

Open from Monday 8th as normal.

We have been absolutely overwhelmed by the response to our high tea to celebrate the kings coronation on Friday. With every table already booked out twice, we have only have 2 spaces left. These are as follows:

2 x table for 4 people
1 x table dor 4
1 x table for 4 people .
1 x table for 2 people

These are on a first come basis so please let us know asap if you would like one of these spaces.

We can still take a few orders for take away high tea. But again please let us know asap

🇬🇧👑Coronation Tea 👑🇬🇧

In celebration of the Kings coronation we are going to be serving a high tea on Friday 5th May, the day before the big event.

We will be slightly altering our usual opening hours and will be open from 11:00am - 3:30pm and will be serving our coronation tea party throughout the day. (Please note, We will not be offering our usual menu and there will be no breakfast service. However we will still offer coffee and cakes where possible.)

High tea will include;

🇬🇧Kings coronation chicken sandwiches
🇬🇧Cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches
🇬🇧Mini brioche with smoked salmon and cream cheese
🇬🇧The coronation quiche- cheese, spinach and broad beans.(recipe released by the king)
🇬🇧Coronation crisps

🇬🇧scones with clotted cream and jam
🇬🇧pancakes
🇬🇧vanilla cupcakes
🇬🇧fresh strawberries

Pot of tea and your choice of cold can of juice.

Priced at £20 per head for sitting in.

If you’re not able to sit in, or want to grab something for the coronation day, why not pre book one of the high tea’s as a take away? Priced at £17.50 per head - must be pre ordered.
