A good will 2 day visit which was organised by Spice Bazzar and Spice Bazaar Foundation for British born Nigerian women international footballer Ashleigh Plumptre to promote sports and education empowerment amongst women & disadvantaged communities

It was previlage meeting and having positive discussions with Ministry of Youth and Sports sports minister honourable Aminul Haque and impactful dialogue with Bangladesh Football Federation President Tabith Awal and the management team

In honour of Ashleigh Plumptre evening meal was hosted at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka in presence was Her Excellency The British High Commissioner UKinBangladesh Sarah Cooke
Amongst other honourable guests

During her visit to sylhet Ashleigh received a guard of honour and vibrant cultural events
During the event she engaged with hundreds of local sports and school communities in which she participated in presenting them with footballs ,playing tops and playing boots which were personally autographed.

Finally I would like to thank Badruzzaman Shelim vice president of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society(BDRCS) of sylhet his dedication,integrity and commitment to make this programme a success

It is with great honour and privilege I have been given the ability to open the 1st ever mortuary for the diaspora of my motherland, Bangladesh district Sylhet. With a growing population of 1.06 million inhabitants and no facilities to be able to wash their loved ones this has been built for the entire community so they have the full ability to commit to the rituals in a clean environment with all facilities including cold room being FREE OF CHARGE
