Good morning, Groby! 👋
Thank you so much for your patience over the past 10 days while we’ve refreshed, polished and added a little sparkle to your village pub, as The Stamford Arms begins its new chapter as part of The Beautiful Pubs Collective.
Our soft opening last night was a real moment for us. It was such a pleasure to welcome so many familiar faces back through the doors, meet regulars, and start getting to know even more of the Groby community.
We’re delighted to say the bar is now fully open! 🍻
Today, our pizza kitchen is serving from 12–9pm, and tomorrow we’ll be serving Sunday lunch from 12–5pm. Over the coming week, we’ll be working towards launching our full food menu, followed by the reopening of The Stamford Deli.
We know there are lots of questions about live music, sport, quiz nights and everything else you’ve loved about The Stamford. We promise we’ll share more as soon as we’ve found our feet and had a chance to listen to what matters most to the community.
One thing we can confirm straight away… we remain an extremely dog-friendly pub! 🐾
You’ll also continue to see lots of familiar team faces, joined by a few colleagues from our other beautiful pubs, all working together to make The Stamford the very best version of this incredible village pub.
