As O2 Academy Leicester prepares to shut its doors, we wanted to bring Handmade Festival back to the venue one last time. We want to celebrate the power of grassroots promoters to collaborate to create something great, and put on a party the city deserves as it navigates a period of transition and uncertainty.

So, Handmade is excited to be returning for a one-off all-day event in Leicester this December. 13 bands across 2 stages at O2 Academy Leicester with no clashes between acts. A bill that is everything we love about Handmade with plenty of old friends from festivals past and new artists we can’t wait for you to discover.

The first 6 acts to be announced are:
Northern Irish instrumentalists And So I Watch You From Afar, Yorkshire’s finest Pulled Apart By Horses, Birmingham’s first sons and daughters Johnny Foreigner, Wrexham electronic powerhouse Gallops, Bristol math jazzers Sans Froid, and Southend post-rock quintet Details.

PLUG Club Night also returns for a silent disco after-party at Firebug after the main event.
