🚗 CAR PARKING AT THE OLD CROWN, FLECKNEY 🚗

We just wanted to clarify the new car parking arrangements at The Old Crown, Fleckney, as we understand there may have been some confusion.

🍻 Main Pub Car Park

The main car park next to the pub is for our customers.

When you park, simply pop into the pub and enter your vehicle registration number into the tablet located on the bar.

Once registered, you can park for up to 24 hours.

This means you can drive to the pub, enjoy a drink and, if you decide it’s best to leave your car overnight, you can do so without worrying about your vehicle.

🅿️ Car Park Between the Chemist & Co-op

This car park will become a paid car park for non-patrons of the pub.

Blue Badge holders will receive their first hour FREE.

Customers of The Old Crown can also use this car park FREE OF CHARGE by entering their vehicle registration number into the tablet inside the pub.

Deliveries and taxis will not be affected by this and will still be allowed to offload/pick up on the car park.

Why are we making this change?

Unfortunately, we have increasingly found that our customers have been unable to find somewhere to park when visiting the pub because spaces are being used by people visiting other local businesses and shops, many of which have their own customer parking available.

Our priority is to make sure that people visiting The Old Crown have somewhere to park.

We appreciate that changes like this can cause questions, but the decision to introduce parking enforcement has been made to protect parking availability for our customers.

We would also like to make it clear that this decision has been made by the tenants of The Old Crown. It was not a decision made by Everards Brewery or Paula, the landlady.

We hope this clears up any confusion and explains why these changes are being introduced.
