Fleckney Fish Bar Traditional Family Run Fish and Chip shop in the village of Fleckney, Leicestershire. At Fleckney Fish Bar our original recipe batter is light and crispy.

Fish & chips are an excellent source of protein & also provide the body with carbohydrates, vitamin C, B6 & B12, iron, calcium, phosphorous, omega 3 as well as trace elements iodine, flourine, zinc and some dietry fibre. New parking restrictions are now in operation, and payment is required if you choose to use it. Please read the signs displayed within the car park to ensure you comply with the new arrangements.

🚧 Roadworks vs Fish & Chips… Round One! 🍟😂

If you’ve driven around Fleckney this week, you’ll know it’s less like a normal drive and more like an obstacle course! 🤣 Between the workmen, lorries, machinery and trying to work out which end of the road is actually open, it’s been keeping everyone on their toes!

Because of this, we’re making one temporary change until Monday 10th August.

🛵 Our last delivery orders will be 8:00pm each evening.

We’d rather finish deliveries a little earlier than have your fish and chips doing laps of the village while we dodge diggers, work vans and road crews! 😂

🚶 Collection orders are completely unaffected, so if you’re happy to walk down to us, we’ll be open as normal.

🍟 The shop opening hours remain exactly the same:
📍 Monday–Thursday & Saturday: Open until 8:30pm
📍 Friday: Open until 9:00pm

🐟🍟 Well… it’s finally our turn to eat! 😅

After another incredibly busy evening, we’re finally sitting down to enjoy our own fish and chips.

We knew you’d miss us after our summer break… but we didn’t realise you’d miss us that much! ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came in, ordered online, or chose us for dinner tonight.

And to those whose deliveries took a little longer than expected, we’re really sorry and appreciate your patience and understanding while we worked our way through a mountain of orders.

Right… time to enjoy this before it goes cold! 😋

That’s it… we’re officially off on our holidays! ☀️🇨🇾

But don’t panic—we’re still open tonight for one last fish and chip fix before we head off! 🐟🍟

Some bloke called Tyler thought he’d open a sushi place in Crete… but he forgot one very important thing…

You don’t mess with tradition! 🤌

The Cretan yiayias (grandmas) soon put him back in his place 🤣

As fellow Greeks, we couldn’t stop laughing. Fish and chips, souvlakia, family recipes… tradition always wins! ❤️🐟🍟

We are closed from 13th July and will reopen on Thursday 30th July.

Dear Customers,

Just a reminder that Fleckney Fish Bar will be closed for our annual summer break from Monday 13th July and will re-open on Thursday 30th July.

We take this short break every year to rest, recharge, and spend some quality time with our families so we can come back refreshed and ready to serve you.

We'd like to thank all of our wonderful customers for your continued support and wish you all a fantastic, safe, and relaxing summer holiday. 🌞
