Time for the semi-finals! Who else has had faith in the boys since the start?

Sports Bar will be open again for the penultimate game of the World Cup and we’re hoping to see a full house like we did for the Quarters on Saturday.

To add some extra colour to the scene we’ll also have the brand new art installation set up as the opening night for the FAM exhibition by Oliver Lancaster 👀 starts at 6pm the same night, so get yourselves down early.

Fresh off the back of their Kelburn success and their Headrow House takeover, it’s fair to say Itchy Feet are a DJ collective taking Leeds by storm. Spanning genres of global grooves, wobbly house and all things disco, Itchy Feet have got everything for the movers and shakers. 💃 🪩

A fresh and exciting sparkling wine from Catalonia by Entre Vinyes. It’s a firm feature by the glass we’ve tried to switch it up but get too many complaints, so it’s basically become our house fizz.

Starting July with a bang ⚽️♟️

Wednesday is where Chess meets Footy this week.

Since England smashed the group stages, the Sports Bar will be open for the England vs Congo game kicking off at 5pm on Wednesday. Plus, it’s the first Wednesday of the month, meaning the Chess boards will be out as usual from 5pm until 10pm.

We’re going to run a tournament to keep the competitive spirit alive.

Get yourselves booked in for this one using the links in the bio as we don’t know how much longer we have left.

The half time oysters are going down a treat as well, to the point where they might replace hydration breaks with them. So book in for a free oyster.

It’s Friday, which means that alongside our usual plates there’s a cheeky off-menu chef’s special if you ask the right person. Fish Butties every Friday, 12–3. They’re under the counter, so you’ll need to ask. 🤫

Previous creations included this Kentucky-style fried mackerel with pickles & burger sauce, and a delicious vegan option with panisse, minted peas & tartare sauce.

What’s Ben going to whip up this week? You’ll have to pop down to find out. I can’t wait for lunch, I’ll tell you that much. 👅

*The WHAM* 🥃🍋

It’s everything she wants, I had one last Christmas and I felt like I was in club Tropicana.

Bourbon whiskey & ameretto sour

25ml Buffalo Trace Bourbon
25ml Amaretto di Saschira
25ml lemon juice
25ml simple syrup
25ml aquafaba (chickpea water, you can also use an egg white)
A couple of drops of Angostura bitters

Shake me up before you go go

Strain into a chilled coupe glass.

Garnish with a few drops of bitters
