Our menus may change with the seasons, but our roots never do.

At Kerala Canteen, we stay true to the flavours, recipes and food traditions we grew up with in Kerala, while using incredible local produce here in Yorkshire to bring those ideas to life.

Before creating our new Autumn/Winter menu, our chefs travelled back to Kerala on a food research trip — eating, exploring, tasting and taking inspiration from the places, people and dishes that continue to shape our cooking.

This is just a glimpse of that journey. ❤️

We’ll be sharing more in the next few videos — the places we visited, the food we tried and the inspiration that made its way back to Leeds.

Because a menu can be modern.
The inspiration can travel.
