So… that’s it for The Unit for a bit. Until the 4th of November in fact.

Thank you everyone that called in the past couple of weeks.

Even though The Units closed we’ve still got a lot on. We’ve a busy week of corporates. And also our frozen white label batches.

We’ll be back with some small menu adjustments and improvements. But still as affordable as we possibly can be with a better mid week offer available.

This time will also give me chance to catch up on quite a bit of admin like the website that I’ve put off for the past few months and learning how to use this fancy new camera that I’ve bought for our socials.

I’m also hoping to expand on the frozen pizza production, frozen dough ball sales and also expand on our wedding offerings, such as a Twilight Wedding Package. More on this later….

Heads up - nearly every email I’ve had this week from suppliers etc has been about price increases. We’ll be having to do the same on our return in November. We’ll still be doing an affordable offer on a Wednesday possibly buy one get one half price. We’ll see.

A little appreciation post for Carli.

If you’ve had us at your wedding or if you’ve been in the shop you’ll have met her.

Today is her birthday and she dropped her plans to help out with the wedding that had been let down last minute by their caterer.

With us from the beginning, through the good times and the hard times.

She’s in the shop tomorrow and likes w**e so feel free to bring her gifts, she’s the one that makes them taste so good…

Unfortunately we won’t be opening The Unit up today.

We had a call last night from one of the venues we closely work with and a couple have been let down last minute by their caterer so we’ll be filling in for them.

Apologies if you were ordering today.

We should still be open tomorrow unless something else crops up. Please message tomorrow if you’d like to order as I won’t be on my phone much today - getting the van ready

We’ll then be closed for about a month due to some corporate jobs, a holiday and some weddings.

What a night 🥵

It’s good to challenge yourself once in a while.

Back to the Caputo on Friday. Tonight’s flour is not for me. It just did not want to stretch.

We’re testing out Wildfarmed Pizza Flour this evening. It might work, it might not. The first prove has gone really well and now it’s on its second. It may taste amazing, it might not. Tonight’s about testing it. Like a little science experiment. This stuff is around 50% more expensive than our usual Caputo flour. If you think there’s the slightest possible chance you might complain while we test this pizza flour save your cash or order a Dominoes.
