September is here, and we’ve got plenty in the diary! 🍂

This month is just the start of a very busy autumn at Archive, so our latest Event Calendar includes a lot of our October events, plus a little look further ahead too. So have a scroll and get some dates in the diary! 🙌

🎲 First up, Games Night with Cards or Die is back this Thursday, 3rd September! It’s free to attend, with food & drink being served - just make sure you book your table via our website.

Sunday night plans: cult horror, pizza & cocktails 👻🍕🍸

What The Film Club are back at Archive this Sunday night with Spookies - a gloriously weird slice of cult horror on the big screen.

And yes, you can make a proper night of it! We’ll be serving our evening menu, including pizzas, loaded fries, loaded nachos, sharing boards and more, with cocktails, beers, wine, alcohol-free options and coffee flowing from the bar.

🎲 Games Night with Ann Jones is back next Thursday evening at Archive after a short break for the summer! 🙌

Free but please book your table on our website

So many games to choose from, vintage games to brand new ones, card games, bluffing games, strategy games…you name it…Ann probably has it!!!

If you need help setting your game up she’s on hand to help, and also to help you choose from the selection in the first places! Come as a group or even on your own and join in with others!

🍕We will be serving our evening food menu with a selection of Pizzas, loaded fries and nachos, sharing cheese and meat board and more. Plus a great selection of cocktails, beers, non alcoholic drinks for you to choose from whilst you play! 🍻

Downtown Disco returns to Archive! 🪩✨

On Saturday 14th November, Downtown Disco is back for another night of disco, funky grooves and uplifting house.

Heading up the line-up is Michael Gray Michael Gray / Artist / DJ / Music Producer - an international house music icon whose productions and DJ sets have soundtracked dancefloors across the world, bringing his signature mix of modern disco, house and timeless anthems to Archive.

He’ll be joined by Jaegerossa Phil Rose , bringing his infectious disco grooves and feel-good house, alongside Downtown Disco favourites Lisa Jane, Lisa Jane known for her blend of soulful house, disco and uplifting vocals, and founder Ian Ossia Ian Ossia with years of experience behind the decks and a serious knack for filling a dancefloor.

Five hours of brilliant music and plenty of dancing incoming. 💃🕺

Join us at Archive for a relaxed introduction to the world of coffee cupping, hosted by Casa Coffee Roasters ☕️

📅 Thursday 1 October, 6 - 7:30pm | Tickets £5 + bf

We’ll explore what a cupping is, why it’s used in the coffee industry, and how it helps us understand and assess coffee. Nathan from Casa will be bringing a selection of different coffees to taste together, using them to explore origins, processing methods, harvesting and the impact these have on flavour.
Expect plenty of smelling, tasting, comparing and chatting. No coffee experience needed! Just come along with an open mind and a curious palate.

A chance to taste some great coffees, learn a little more about where they come from, and see coffee from a different perspective.

Independent Life Leeds

Our kitchen will be closed from Wednesday 12th to Friday 14th August while we carry out some refurbishment work.

We’ll be open as normal over the weekend (serving food from our brunch & lunch menus), but then the kitchen will also be closed on Monday 17th & Tuesday 18th August because of staff holidays.

The Coffee Shop will still be open throughout, serving all of your favourite coffees, drinks and deli counter options, including sandwiches, pastries, cakes and more.

Thanks for your patience while we make a few improvements behind the scenes. It’ll all be worth it, and normal service will resume from Wednesday 19th August.
