Our Braised Pork Chop Bento is saying goodbye 🥹

We’ve been going back and forth about this for a while. It takes a lot of preparation, and the cost of making it is genuinely high. We don’t want to keep putting the price up, so we’ve tried to find a way to make it work — but we haven’t found a solution we’re happy with.

So, reluctantly, we’ve decided to take it off the menu after October.

But we know some of you come in especially for this one. We couldn’t let it disappear without giving you a chance to have it again ❤️

We’ll be making a limited number each day at our Sheffield shop throughout October. Once that day’s batch is gone, it’s gone.

If it’s your usual, come back for one more. If you’ve always said “I’ll try it next time”… this is your next time 🥹

我們的滷排骨便當，要跟大家說再見了🥹

這個決定其實我們猶豫了很久。滷排骨的製作工序多，成本也真的比較高，但我們已經不想再漲價了。這段時間也一直在想辦法，試過不同的解決方案，最後還是覺得，要繼續做下去真的有點難。

所以雖然捨不得，我們還是決定，十月過後就不再賣了。

但知道有些客人是特地為了它來的，又覺得不能就這樣把它拿掉，至少要讓喜歡它的你們，再好好吃上一次❤️

十月期間，謝菲店每天都會少量準備，當天賣完就沒有了。

喜歡它的，記得回來再吃一次。一直說「下次試試」的……這次就是你的下次了😂

One bowl, two ways to enjoy it.🥰

In Sheffield,
it’s our classic Taiwanese braised pork rice.
In Leeds,
we’ve made a chicken version so more people can enjoy that same comforting flavour.
We start with a stock slow-simmered from chicken bones, then use it to braise the minced chicken until it’s rich and savoury.
Spoon it over rice, add vegetables, pickles and a braised egg — and lunch is sorted.

Which one are you trying first:

謝菲爾德店的是經典滷肉飯。
為了讓更多人也能吃到這份熟悉的滋味，
我們在 Leeds 做了雞肉版：
先用雞骨頭慢熬高湯，再用高湯煨煮雞肉燥，讓它吸滿香氣和滋味。淋在白飯上，配上蔬菜、醃蘿蔔和滷蛋，就是一碗滿足的飯。😋
