Parma - King of Hams!
Parma is a thing of beauty and if you love it as much as we do you've got great taste. It was enjoyed by Roman Emperors over 2000 years ago!
Back to the present day, and it's Parma week here in the UK so we are jumping at this chance to show off our lovely parma ham here at Pooky's.
Weve been running this place for nearly 9 years now and parma ham has been with us the whole time - in our charcuterie section and in our Italian Job foccaccia sandwich.
We'll be posting some bits and pieces over the next week to join the celebration 🐖🐖

Our baker has done it again!

The tarte tatin - a French classic made upside down... fillings get roasted under a layer of flaky pastry. Red onion caramalise with a little help from balsamic vinegar, brown sugar and butter.
Flip it back right side up and add a slice of goat's cheese with its creamy tang alongside the rich sweetness of the onion they are perfect conpanions.
