Our baker has done it again!

The tarte tatin - a French classic made upside down... fillings get roasted under a layer of flaky pastry. Red onion caramalise with a little help from balsamic vinegar, brown sugar and butter.
Flip it back right side up and add a slice of goat's cheese with its creamy tang alongside the rich sweetness of the onion they are perfect conpanions.

Paris?! Mais non! Come to Horsforth and grab one for a stunning summer snack.

From Sunday 9th til Friday 14th August we are open as usual but with one significant thing missing, breakfast!

Unfortunately we are not able to offer breakfast for eat-in or takeaway from Sunday 9th to Friday 14th August.

Fear not, coffee and all other drinks, toast, pastries and cakes are all available all day.

And Mon - Fri we have lunch service starting earlier at 11am, serving freshly made sandwiches, toasties, savoury pastries and fries til 3pm as usual.

Huge apologies for any inconvenience this causes but we're only a small team and even we need holidays.

Normal 8am breakfast service will resume from Saturday 15th August.

And for us the beauty of this winning combo is how we can level it up by taking inspiration from Italy.
Ham, make it parma.
Cheese, soft fresh mozzarella.
Tomato, sunblushed please.
For the bread, what else but our delicious home-made foccacia?
And bring it all together with our legendary house salsa verde and you have one heck of a sandwich.
