I'm sorry to say that mine & Susan's Mum (Ben's Grandma), Maureen Jackson, passed away on Thursday morning.
She grew up in the row of cottages next to Emsleys farm & lived on South View Terrace for 20 odd years before moving in to the fish shop.
She worked at Silver Cross pram factory for many years.
Anybody who remembers her & wishes to attend her funeral will be more than welcome to join us at Rawdon crematorium on Monday 3rd August at 1.45.
